Music Tuition
Sophie teaches piano, cello, guitar, ukulele and music theory, either face-to-face or online.
Lessons are informal, fun and entirely student-led, according to the desired outcomes. Sophie encourages learning of a broad spectrum of musical skills, including instrument management, stylistic interpretation, theory, sight-reading, improvisation and aural skills, but mostly, she ignites a love of music!
If working to pass exams is the aim, then Sophie is well versed in ABRSM, Trinity, LCM and many others’ offerings.

Accompanist
Preparing for a performance/exam but need an accompanist, either for practice purposes or the main event?
Sophie offers sensitive and intuitive piano accompanying for a range of styles and abilities. Packages are tailored to suit (dependent on requirement) but as standard, a minimum of two rehearsals and the performance itself are included.

Session/Community Musician
Sophie is a skilled and experienced session musician, having worked in a variety of musical styles, around the world.
Although Sophie predominantly does session work on the cello or piano, she’s also available for vocals or guitar.
